(KNZA)--Two Ozawkie residents were injured in a two-vehicle accident Monday evening at the junction of K-4 and K-92 Highways north of Meriden in Jefferson County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 51-year-old Teresa Wilson, of Topeka, began to pull out onto K-4 after stopping at a stop sign at the intersection and struck a northbound van driven by 27-year-old Cassandra Boyette, of Ozawkie, in the passenger side.
A passenger in the van, 53-year-old Robin Boyette, was transported to the Jefferson County Memorial Hospital in Winchester for treatment of possible injuries. Another passenger, 43-year-old Gwendolyn Lawrence, also received possible injuries, but the accident report doesn’t indicate she was transported to a hospital.
Cassandra Boyette and two other passenger’s in the van were not hurt. In addition, Wilson escaped injury in the accident reported shortly before 6:30 Monday evening.
