Holton/Jackson Co Hall of Famers Announced

(KNZA)--The annual big reveal has been made as the Holton Jackson County Chamber of Commerce unveils the latest round of inductees into the Chamber's Hall of Fame. 

Chosen are Rich and Lynne Mulroy, Roy Hale and the late Doctor Carlos Chavez. 

Rich Mulroy served for 18-years as a Holton City Commissioner, spending nine of them as mayor. Lynne Mulroy is known for her volunteership, earning past honors as Kansas Downtown Volunteer of the Year and for her efforts with Holton Main Street. 

Hale is a veteran of the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force, and is credited with the work he's accomplished to promote the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation. 

Chavez, who moved to Holton from Mexico in 1983, worked to bridge language gaps in the community. 

The Hall of Fame Honorees will be inducted in February during the annual Hall of Fame banquet.
