Marysville Woman Honored by Peers
(KMZA)--The Director of Cardiopulmonary Services at Community Memorial Healthcare in Marysville has been honored by her peers.
Cheryl Skinner has been named as the 2013 Kansas Respiratory Practitioner of the year by the Kansas Respiratory Care Society. She received her award at the KRCS Annual Business Meeting held earlier this month in Hays.
The Kansas Respiratory Practitioner of the Year award provides recognition to a respiratory practitioner for their contributions and advancement to the field of respiratory care, excellence and quality in patient care, and living the qualities of respiratory care in their community. Candidates must be a licensed respiratory care provider and American Association for Respiratory Care member, and must be nominated by a member of their peers.
Skinner has worked for Community Memorial Healthcare since 2008 and served as the Director of Cardiopulmonary Services since June, 2012.
