Data Breach has Little Impact at St. Joe Casino
12/24/2013

(AP) - A data breach at a casino company has had little impact at the company's casino in St. Joseph.
Affinity Gaming says that its system was infected with malware that compromised card data from customers at its 11 casinos in Nevada, Colorado, Missouri and Iowa. The company says it has secured its system, but advised customers who visited between March 14 and October 16 to review their financial records for suspicious transactions.
Chris Krabiel, the general manager of the St. Jo Frontier Casino, told the St. Joseph News-Press that the casino had received few if any reports of suspicious transactions. He also said the data breach related to food and beverage purchases, while larger transactions such as ATM withdrawals and credit card cash advances, were not involved.
