(KTNC) -- The Nebraska Department of Education is seeking sponsors for its summer food service program.
The program provides meals and snacks to children at schools, churches, playgrounds and parks during school breaks.
Program sponsors may apply for grants of up to $15,000 for non-recurring expenses.
Eligible sponsors include public or private non-profit schools; residential camps; local, municipal, or county governments; and other private non-profit organizations.
