USD 336 Supt. Search Down to Two
(KNZA)--There are now only two finalists to be the next superintendent of the Holton school district.
The Holton Recorder reports that Michael Stegman, the current Superintendent of Washington County schools USD 108, has withdrawn his application for the position.
A meet-and-greet event scheduled for Thursday evening with Stegman has been cancelled.
Meet-and-greet events with the other two finalists were held Monday and Wednesday evenings. They include Randall Jansonius, current superintendent and principal of schools in Ness City USD 303, and Mike Nulton, who most recently served as superintendent for North Lyon County USD 251.
Nulton is also among five finalists for the superintendent position at Marysville USD 364, and Jansonius is among four finalists for the superintendent position at South Coffey County USD 245.
Current Holton school district superintendent Nancy Meyer is retiring at the end of the current school year after serving in the position the past four years.
