02/03/2014

(KAIR)--The recent propane shortage, combined with a spike in propane prices has left many Kansas residents looking for help in heating their home as temperatures continue to drop.

According to a release from Kansas Republican Senator Dennis Pyle, assistance from the state is now available to those needing it.

Pyle says people needing assistance can call the state Department of Children and Families about the low income energy assistance program at 1-800-432-0043, or the Governor's office at 785-368-8500.
