(KLZA) -- The Pawnee County Board of Commissioners tabled action on health insurance when they met this week. The action occurred following a discussion about the options on health insurance with County Attorney Jennifer Stehlik Ladman.
Stehlik Ladman also informed Commissioners of the bid received on three lots in Steinauer. She noted that certain criteria must be met including an open public hearing and two weeks of advertising before the sale.
Sheriff Jayme Reed met with Commissioners regarding a prisoner medical bill for $14,000. Sheriff Reed also noted the County would be getting $6,673 back from the SEADE Task Force following the task force being discontinued. The money can only be used on certain things for law enforcement.
Commissioners did approve construction of a cell phone tower for U-S Cellular on the brad Sejkora farm.
Milan Tomek, Charles Davis, Rudy Fritch and Elsie Tomek met with Commissioners conerning a bridge project on 711 Trail in Pawnee County.
