(KLZA) -- Pawnee County Commissioners reviewed the One and Six Year Road Plan with Highway Superintendent Chris Rauner when they met Tuesday. Gene Weilage asked questions concerning the road plan. A resolution was passed unanimously adopting the plan.
Commissioners approved expenditures to promote upcoming events. Yvonne Dalluge with the Pawnee Visitors Promotion Committee requested $200 for the SE TAC and $100 for the Heritage Highway Visitors Promotion.
Rob Tichy met with the Commissioners regarding surveying. Later in the meeting Highway Superintendent Chris Rauner met with Commissioners and they discussed the county Surveyor at that time. Later the Board went into executive session with Rauner for prevention of needless injury to the reputation of an individual or individuals. No action was taken following the 30 minute closed session.
County Attorney Jennifer Stehlik Ladman discussed health insurance and the Safety Training Option Program known as STOP. Commissioners approved a resolution concerning the STOP program offered on-line by Traffic Safety Plus.
Commissioners also discussed road side brush and met with Dustin Weill and Dan Duren with Benefit Management regarding insurance.
