Leavenworth Man Facing Federal Drug Charges

U.S. Attorney Barry Grissom

(KNZA)--A Leavenworth man is facing federal drug charges.

According to U.S. Attorney Barry Grissom, 40-year-old Felix Leal has been charged with two counts of distributing methamphetamine, along with one count each of possession with intent to distribute marijuana, unlawful possession of a firearm after a felony conviction and unlawful possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking.

Grissom says the crimes are alleged to have occurred in Wyandotte County in 2013 and this year.

The case was investigated by the FBI.
