Anti Fraud Program Thursday in Falls City

 (KLZA) -- The Excel Development Group invites the public to attend a S.A.F.E. presentation Thursday afternoon at 1 p-m at the Falls City Senior Center.  

S.A.F.E. stands for Senior Anti-Fraud Education.

The presentation will outline the most common types of senior fraud, give you a list of warning signs to be aware of.  In addition they will have tips on what to do if you suspect a scam and help you with tools and resources for handling phone, mail and e-mail scams. A list of important phone numbers will also be made available.

Ryan Sothan, Outreach Coordinator with the Nebraska Attorney General’s Office, will be the presenter during the program.  The program has information for senior citizens and for everyone that has a senior citizen in their life.

You do not need to be a resident at an Excel property to attend this meeting.

Refreshments will be served and goodie bags handed out with helpful information for those who attend.
