Boil Water Advisory Lifted for Troy
02/27/2014

(KNZA)--The Kansas Department of Health and Environment has rescinded the boil water advisory for the Doniphan County community of Troy.

The boil advisory was issued on Tuesday because of a loss of pressure in the community’s water supply system due to a water main break.

KDHE says laboratory testing on samples collected from Troy’s water supply indicate no evidence of contamination, and all other conditions that placed the system at risk of contamination are deemed to be resolved.

As a result, Troy residents no longer need to boil the water they use for drinking or food preparation.
