Seneca Man Enters Into Plea Agreement in Child Sex Case
02/27/2014

(KMZA)--A Seneca man facing child sex charges has entered into a plea agreement.

David Hobbs II recently pleaded no contest in Nemaha County District Court to a charge of aggravated indecent liberties with a child.  In exchange for the plea, a charge of rape was dismissed.  Sentencing is set for April 3rd.

Hobbs was accused of sexually assaulting a Seneca female under the age of 14.
He was arrested in May of last year following an investigation by the Seneca Police Department.

Hobbs was on probation at the time of his arrest in a separate child sex case.    He was given a suspended prison sentence last March and placed on 24-months probation on an amended charge of indecent solicitation of a child stemming from a Sabetha case dating back to 2012.

Hobbs remains in the Nemaha County Jail on $500,000 bond.
