(KLZA) The Falls City Educational Foundation has announced that applications are being accepted for $36,500 in Scholarships for the 2014-2015 school year. This year one new scholarship has been added. The KATHRYN BARTEK MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP for $1,000 will be given in honor of the long time school board member and school supporter.
Applications must be submitted by March 24, 2014 for all of the Foundation’s 2014 Scholarships. Winners will be notified in May.
The Foundation is offering 24 scholarships to 2014 graduates of Falls City High School and 5 scholarships to past graduates of Falls City High attending a 4 year college in selected majors.
Scholarship details and applications are available at the Falls City High School Guidance Counselor office or on line at the Falls City High Schools Web site.
