(KNZA)--A rural Mayetta woman was arrested after Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies interrupted an underage drinking party.
Sheriff Tim Morse says deputies responded to 16614 R Road near Mayetta early Sunday morning regarding a report of an underage drinking party.
45-year-old Melissa Marie Slater was arrested at the scene. She was booked into the Jackson County Jail for social hosting and furnishing alcohol to minors.
About a dozen underage drinkers were also cited at the scene.
