(KAIR)--The National Weather Service issued another Red Flag warning for Atchison County Wednesday, and county officials have issued a burn ban for the area until further notice.
A Red Flag Warning is put out when an area's current humidity, combined with low moisture and high winds could lead to a fire going out of control. Officials are asking residents to please refrain from any outdoor burning activities.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding the ban, you can contact the Atchison County Emergency Management Department at 913-833-4025.
