(KTNC) -- Passes to the Humboldt Swimming Pool will cost the same this year as last year, and the pool hours will also be the same. The Humboldt City Council set the pool hours and fees during its meeting Tuesday night.
The pool will be open from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 1:00 to 6:00 on Sunday. Family night will be from 7:00 to 9:00 Sunday evening.
Season passes cost $70 for a resident family of four and $75 for a non-resident family of four, with an extra $5 charge for an additional family member.
Individual season passes cost $40 for an adult, $36 for an individual child or an adult over 50 years of age. The cost is $45 for a non-resident adult, $40.50 for a non-resident adult over 50, and $40 for a non-resident child age 4-to-18.
The daily entry fee is $4 for an adult and $3 for a child age 4-to-18.
The council hired Cindy Riley to be the pool manager for the summer, with a salary of $4,000. The city will re-advertise for an assistant pool manager, since they have received just one application to date.
In other business Tuesday, the Humboldt City Council approved an ordinance to vacate a right-of-way on the northwest side of the school. The HTRS School District requested the action to clear the way for an addition on the north side of the High School building.
The council also gave Humboldt Girls’ Softball permission to use the City Square and Park for a truck show on June 21. They gave permission for Shane Keaton to use city streets for a street dance over Memorial Day weekend.
And the council approved a payment of nearly $128,000 to Eriksen Construction for work on the water project.
