Two Injured in Verdon Accident
04/14/2014

(KTNC) --  Weather was a factor in a two-vehicle accident in Verdon Sunday evening.
Richardson County Sheriff Randy Houser says vehicles driven by 18-year-old Jacob Moore and 46-year-old Tammy Bentz, both of Verdon, collided at the intersection of 6th and Main Street at about 6:30 Sunday evening.
That is an uncontrolled intersection, and Houser says the drivers may not have been able to see out of their side windows due to the precipitation.
Both vehicles involved were heavily damaged in the collision. Houser says both Moore and Bentz were taken to Community Medical Center in Falls City, where they were treated for minor injuries.
