(KLZA)-- The Falls City Police Department was called to a two-vehicle collision on East 14th Street shortly before 6 Wednesday evening.
Police say an eastbound pickup driven by 22-year old Kraig Coonce, of Rulo, slowed to allow the vehicle in front of him to turn when his pickup was hit from behind. 53-year-old James Hall of Falls City was eastbound in a pickup, he told the investigating officer that he did not see the Coonce vehicle slow down and hit him.
Neither driver was wearing a seat belt. Hall suffered a visible but non-disabling head injury. Hall sought treatment at Community Medical Center. Hall was issued a citation by the Police Officer.
The Hall pickup was totaled in the wreck and the pickup Coonce was driving sustained an estimated $1,000 damage.
