(KLZA) -- Richardson County landowners that received property valuation notices this past week need to be aware of an incorrect date on the form.
The form incorrectly lists June 1st as the deadline for filing protests if you do not agree with the amount of the new valuation. The date you must file a protest of the valuation by is June 30th.
Property owners with valuations that increased or decreased received notices. Again if you wish to protest the new valuation, you need to file by June 30th with the Richardson County Assessors office.
