(KNZA)--A new assistant principal/athletic director has been hired for Hiawatha High School.
Following an executive session Monday evening, the Hiawatha USD 415 Board of Education voted to offer a two-year contract to Kim Lillie.
Lillie currently serves as a 7th grade science teacher and athletic director at the middle school. She will replace Andrew Gaddis who will take over as high school principal July 1st. Gaddis will replace Alan Jeffrey who is taking early retirement.
The board also gave Superintendent Penny Hargrove approval to advertise to fill Lillie's positions at the middle school.
