(KLZA)-- Weather permitting, a fog seal project will begin the week of June 16 on US-136, according to the Nebraska Department of Roads.
A fog seal is oil sprayed onto the surface of a newer road to seal the fine cracks.
State maintenance forces will be doing a fog seal from Reference Post 204 to Reference Post 209.57 on the west edge of Tecumseh. The work is anticipated to take 2 days. One-lane traffic will occur with the use of flaggers and a pilot vehicle.
In addition, a fog seal project will also take place the same week from Reference Post 0 to Reference Post 6.18 from Burr east to Nebraska Highway-50. The work is anticipated to take 2 days.
Motorists should expect to see delays and are reminded to drive cautiously through highway work zones.
