(KLZA)-- A special meeting of the HTRS School Board was held in Humboldt on Wednesday evening to discuss bids received in June for a three-story addition proposed for the north side of the Humboldt building.
Representatives of Ameritas Financial and the apparent low bidder for the project, AHRS Construction of Bern, Kansas attended the meeting.
The low bid for the project was in excess of $5-million, which was higher than the Board members had hoped for. Various financing options were discussed but no decisions were made. The project will be part of the agenda for the July 14th HTRS Board meeting.
