(KNZA)--A Denison man is facing charges after the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department shut down a marijuana growing operation over the weekend.
Sheriff Tim Morse says 48-year-old Marvin Jones was arrested Saturday afternoon after deputies served a search warrant at 401 2nd Street in Denison following an investigation by the sheriff's department.
Morse says deputies seized components of an inside and outside growing operation along with numerous marijuana plants.
Jones was booked into the Jackson County Jail on charges of felony possession of marijuana, unlawful cultivation of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Jones remains in the Jackson County Jail on $20,000 bond.
