(KMZA)--A Marysville woman was injured Sunday afternoon in a two-vehicle wreck on U.S. 77 Highway south of Beatrice, Nebraska.
According to a press release from the Gage County Sheriff’s Department, 56-year-old Susan McHenry was northbound when her Chevy Blazer crossed the center line and struck an oncoming semi around 12:30.
Sheriff Millard Gustafson said the semi driver drove onto the west shoulder in an attempt to avoid the collision.
McHenry was trapped in her vehicle and had to removed by the jaws of life. She was flown to a Lincoln hospital.
The semi driver wasn’t hurt.
Gustafson says the wreck remains under investigation with possible charges pending.
