Cassie Waggoner
(KNZA)--A new administrator is hired for the Hiawatha Chamber of Commerce.
She is Cassie Waggoner, a Brown County native who currently resides in Everest.
She was one of two finalists for the position, ultimately selected to fill the role by the Chamber Board of Directors during their July 9th meeting.
Officially offered the contract Tuesday, Waggoner accepted the part-time position, which she will begin August 4th.
She replaces Stacey Babb, who announced her resignation in April, after filling the role since 2009.
