SE Neb. Projects Included in State Transportation Program

(KTNC)--The Nebraska Department of Roads released its 2015 Surface Transportation program last week. The program lists highway projects to be completed.
 The state highway program is published at $457 million, funded with state and federal highway user taxes and fees. The local system program for city streets and county roads totals $303 million, funded with state, federal, and local highway user revenues.
 More than 150 projects will be let to contract in the State Highway System between July 1, 2014 and June 30, 2015.
 Projects in southeast Nebraska include:
-Widening and resurfacing 11 miles of Highway 41 east of Sterling
-Resurfacing 20.3 miles of Highway 105 from the junction of Highway 4 to Highway 67
-Widening and resurfacing Highway 67 from Nemaha north to Highway 136
-Resurfacing and bridge repair on Highway 67 in Nemaha County from Highway 136 to the Peru Spur
-And resurfacing five miles of Highway 8 in Gage County, from the east junction of Highway 112 to U.S. Highway 77.
