(KNZA)--A Holton man will be sentenced August 15th after pleading guilty to a charge of aggravated burglary in Jackson County District Court.
In exchange for the plea, two other charges against 46-year-old Marvin Park were dismissed.
Park was charged after he was found inside a residence in the 300-block of East Eighth Street in Holton early June 1st.
Police say one of the occupants, Trisha Walker, was awakened by a barking dog around 3 in the morning and noticed Park coming out of her daughter’s bedroom.
Walker and another occupant of the residence attempted to apprehend Park, who reportedly exited through the front door. He was arrested about two hours later.
