(KNZA)--A 17-year-old girl is missing, and the Brown County Sheriff's Department is asking the public to help bring her home safely.
Sheriff John Merchant says Macie Blanks was last seen on August 4th, disappearing after she reportedly packed up her belongings. It's believed she may have gone to the Kansas City or Olathe area.
Merchant describes Blanks as white, standing 5'6”, weighing 130 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes.
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Blanks should contact the Brown County Sheriff's Office at 785-742-7125 or the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at 800-843-5678.
This isn't the first time that Blanks has runaway. In February of this year, Merchant called on the public's help when she disappeared from the Netawaka area.
Blanks was located in Kansas City, Kansas in early March where she was apprehended on drug-related charges.
