(KAIR)--The Atchison County Democratic Party will be holding their Central Committee meeting Thursday night in order to prepare for the upcoming general election.
The meeting is set to take place at 7:00 in the Community Room of the central office for Atchison's USD 409 School Board.
One of the main items on the agenda is the election of officers for the organization including Chairman, Vice-Chairman, and Secretary-Treasurer. All elected precinct and township committeemen and committeewomen are authorized to vote in this election. Appointments will also be made to any open precinct positions.
The meeting is open to anyone interested in learning more about the party or who may be interested in helping with the upcoming election.
Refreshments will be served.
