(KTNC)--The 2014 Richardson County Free Fair begins with the coronation program at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday in Humboldt.
The theme of the 90th annual fair is “There’s no Place Like Home,” and there will be many activities to bring large crowds to Humboldt this weekend.
The coronation program takes place in the City Square Park at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday. The fair queen and king will be announced during the program, along with the Woman of the Year.
Queen candidate finalists are, in alphabetical order, Rebecca Blecha, Nicole Fiegener, Casey McNealy, Whitney Ramsey, and Haley Workman.
The fair continues through Saturday evening.
Exhibits will be on display at the Ag Building, the carnival will be set up around the square, parades will be held all three days of the fair at 11:00 a.m., and there will be free entertainment on the stage in the park at 2:00 and 8:00 p.m. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
