(KNZA)--A special meeting is set to happen Wednesday evening, as renovation of the City of Horton moves forward.
Commissioners, during the session, plan to focus the discussion on downtown improvements to the city.
The meeting begins at 7:00 at Horton City Hall.
The effort to bring new life to the Brown County community includes strong volunteer support, shown each Saturday, which serve as workdays for the revitalization of the city.
This coming Saturday's efforts carry special significance, as they will be conducted on Horton's 128th birthday.
Plans are already in the works for a grand celebration to mark the city's 130th birthday in 2016.
