(KNZA)-- Kansas Lt. Governor Jeff Colyer will visit Atchison and Hiawatha Tuesday morning.
Colyer will first travel to Atchison's Medicaloge at 8:00 where he will meet with residents and the public alike.
Colyer is then scheduled to arrive at Gus’ Restaurant in downtown Hiawatha at 9:30 where the public is invited to meet him.
Colyer is the running mate of Republican Governor Sam Brownback, who is seeking a second 4-year term. Prior to being selected as Brownback’s running mate he served in the Kansas Senate from 2009 to 2011 and Kansas House of Representatives from 2007-2009.
Brownback is being challenged by Democrat Paul Davis, who is the minority leader in the Kansas House, along with Libertarian candidate Keen Umbehr.
