Marshall Co Bridge Replacement Starts Monday
10/10/2014

Wolf Creek Bridge

(KMZA)--A replacement project is set to begin Monday on the K-99 Bridge over Wolf Creek in Marshall County.

Located just over 2-miles northeast of the U.S. 36 junction, a mile east of Beattie, the work will take place during weekday daylight hours, with some Saturday work possible.

Starting on Monday, if weather allows, K-99 will be reduced to one lane for both directions over the bridge, and will remain that way until the project is complete.

Traffic will be directed across the bridge by temporary traffic signals.

The bridge replacement will be conducted in two phases, with the scheduled completion date set for late May 2015.

Newton, Kansas based Bridges Inc is the primary contractor on the $1.3 million project.
