Info Sought on Pottawatomie Co. Crimes

(KMZA)--The Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in solving a series of burglaries and thefts that have occurred over the last several months mainly in the central and northern areas of the county.

 

Sheriff Greg Riat says a reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the crimes.

They include the following:

.A burglary in the area of Martin Road and Watermill Road in which three chainsaws, two Stihls and a Homelite, as well as two impact drivers were taken. The total loss estimate was $2,800. The theft is belived to have occurred between Sept. 10 and Sept. 29.

 

.A burglary to a residence in the area of Goodlove Road and Wheaton Road in which copper tubing, tools and sockets, a water heater, wooden door, window and cabinets were stolen between Sept. 23 and Oct. 2. Total loss was estimated at more than $1,500.

• Two incidents on a property near Rock Creek Road and Beulah. The most recent and most costly occurred between Aug. 5 and Aug. 11 when someone stole two tire changers, a 3-wheel Harley-Davidson golf cart, a cutting torch set, a battery charger, tools, and an alternator from an All chalmers tractor. Total loss was estimated at more than $1,700.

 

Earlier at the same location, a 6-cylinder tractor engine was taken sometime between June 1 and June 4.
