(KAIR)--A Tuesday afternoon traffic stop in Atchison leads to the arrest of a Horton man on several drug related charges.
According to Police Chief Mike Wilson, an officer on patrol stopped 21-year-old Kaleb Moore for a traffic violation in the 300 block of North Eighth Street. Upon further investigation, the officer discovered what appeared to be methamphetamine and marijuana in Moore's possession.
Wilson says Moore's vehicle was spotted earlier in the day in an area where police suspect drug activity was taking place.
Moore was booked into the Atchison County Jail on charges including possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
