Local School Improvement Plans Turned Down
11/04/2014

(MSC News)--Atchison County voters in USD 377  have turned down a bond issue that would have funded various improvements throughout the district.

The $9.8 million proposal was defeated 938 to 801.

Voters last November soundly defeated a $17.5 million bond issue that would have funded the construction of a new prek-8th grade facility, and upgrades to the Junior/Senior High School.

Meanwhile, voters in Prairie Hills 113 Tuesday said no to a permanent annual capital outlay tax levy not to exceed 8 mills.
