(KAIR)--Atchison County voters have approved a proposal that would provide a new fire building in Rural Fire District #2.
The proposal passed by a vote of 938-801.
The Fire District’s board held two informational meetings in the past two months, designed to provide information such as why the building is needed and how construction will be funded to any interested Atchison County resident.
