(KAIR)--A single vehicle Thursday morning crash in Johnson County leaves a Leavenworth man dead.
The Kansas Highway Patrol identifies the victim as 51-year-old Gregory Sifferman.
He was killed when his SUV, northbound on I-435, left the roadway for unknown reasons and smashed into a bridge pillar at Johnson Drive in Shawnee.
Sifferman, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The fatal crash happened around 6:45 in the morning.
