(KAIR)--A Basehor man is facing drug related charges after the alleged discovery of illegal drugs in his possession.
According to Atchison Police Lieutenant Tim Stout, the arrest was made just before 1:30 Sunday morning after officers on patrol investigated a suspicious vehicle in the 400 block of North Seventeenth Street. Contact was made with the driver, 24-year-old Brendan Leonard, and officers discovered what appeared to be methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in his possession.
Leonard was booked into the Atchison County Jail on charges including possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
