Fundraising Events Taking Place in Auburn
12/04/2014

(KLZA)-- Nemaha County Hospital, in Auburn, in partnership with Southeast Nebraska Community Action (SENCA), will host a fundraiser throughout the day on Friday, December 5 at the hospital. This event is to raise money for Nemaha County Gives Back 2014.

A free will donation soup luncheon and soup supper will be served from 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Silent auction items donated by local businesses will be open for bids all day with winners announced at 7:00 p.m. Winning bidders do not need to be present to win. Local service organizations have graciously agreed to give decorated Christmas trees to be auctioned off at 6:00 p.m. that evening.

This annual event is held to raise money to benefit those less fortunate during the holiday season. All proceeds raised will be distributed to qualifying individuals and families in the form of gift cards to assist with holiday meals and gift expenses.

Area businesses, churches, non-profit organizations and individuals who wish to contribute to the effort but cannot attend can mail or drop of their donation to the Nemaha County Hospital.

For more information about the fundraiser or how to donate an item or Christmas tree to the event, please contact the Nemaha County Hospital at (402) 274-4366 or email Teresa Breazile at tbreazile@nchnet.org.
