(KLZA)-- Richardson County Commissioners approved the appointment of Anthony Nussbaum to the Richardson County Extension Board when they met Tuesday. He will fill the position held by Trudy Burenheide whose term expires December 31.
A permit to operate an overload / oversize vehicle on a county road by Fahsholtz Movers, to move a house was approved.
Highway Superintendent Scott Huppert reported a structure needing replaced on 714 Road between 653 and 654 Avenue has been completed with the placement of a tube and the necessary excavating.
A construction engineering agreement with Speece-Lewis Engineers for the Stella Southeast Bridge Project was approved.
Bids for the purchase of a truck and for a trailer for the Road and Bridge Department were opened and referred tot he Highway Superintendent for further review. Seven truck bids were received ranging in cost of $102,157 up to $107,000.
