(KNZA)--An Atchison man, facing child sex charges, has been bound over to Doniphan County District Court.
That follows this week's conclusion of the preliminary hearing for Heath Umphenhour, charged with two counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child under the age of 14 and one count of sexual exploitation of a child.
Arraignment is now scheduled for the morning of January 28th.
Umphenhour was arrested in July of last year following an investigation by the Doniphan County Sheriff's Department and the Kansas Bureau of Investigation.
He's held in the Doniphan County Jail on bond of a half-million-dollars.
