Kansas Turnpike Sees Increased Holiday Traffic

(KAIR)--Holiday traffic on the Kansas turnpike saw a significant increase this year compared to last year.

That, according to a release from the Kansas Turnpike Authority, who states that they saw an increase of 14.5 percent in Christmas holiday traffic compared to 2013. Unaudited traffic numbers show that 910,465 vehicles traveled on the Kansas Turnpike between December 20th and December 28th. During the same nine day period last year, 794,763 vehicles used the roadway.
