(KLZA)-- Richardson County Commissioners declared roadside brush and overhanging trees located along the county road right-of-way on property owned by Kurt Kechely to be a public nuisance following a public hearing conducted on Tuesday. Kechely has 30-days to abate the nuisance or the County will have the brush removed and assess the costs to Kechely.
In other business the Board discussed a permit application from Wardcraft Homes to move an overloaded / oversize vehicle on county roads. Highway Superintendent Scott Huppert will contact the company to discuss other routes to move the home to its location.
Commissioners voted to designate the Falls City Journal as the officials County newspaper for 2015 and adopted a resolution to approve F& M Bank, Richardson County Bank & Trust Company, American National Bank, State Bank of Table Rock and Great Western Bank as depositories for county funds for 2015.
