(KMZA)--Three candidates have filed so far for positions up for election in April on the Nemaha Central USD 115 Board of Education.
Two candidates have filed for position 7 on the board, the at-large position. They include incumbent Owen Zinke and Doug Metzger. Jason Hammes has filed for re-election to position 5.
Four positions will be up for election on the board during the April 7th general election. They also include position one, currently held by Gary Niehues and position three, currently held by Roger Hermesch.
Meanwhile, no one has filed yet for four open positions each on the Prairie Hills USD 113 board and Vermillion USD 380 board.
Candidates have until noon on Tuesday, January 27th to file at the Nemaha County Clerk's office.
Also several city government positions will be filled in Nemaha County during the April election.
