(KAIR)--Four additional candidates filed Friday for re-election in various Atchison County elections.
County Clerk Pauline Lee reports that Kirk Wohlgemuth has joined Mark Hurst, Todd Eckert, and James Potts in seeking re-election to the Effingham City Council.
Brian and Susan Higley have also filed for re-election to the Muscotah City Council. Current Council members Dale Small, Lester Tacker, and James Hanrahan have also filed for re-election.
Finally, George Ross Jr. Has filed for re-election to the USD 409 Board of Education.
Candidates have until noon Tuesday to file at the Atchson County Clerk's office.
