(KAIR)--The Atchison County Sheriff's Department is investigating thefts from two storage units from a facility in Effingham
Sheriff Jack Laurie says both thefts took place at the facility located in the 800 block of Howard Street, and are thought to have occurred sometime between February 26th and March 6th when they were reported.
Laurie says that locks were cut in order to gain entry.
Various computer items were removed from the first unit, while tools and other miscellaneous items were taken from the second. The total loss in both thefts is $550.
There are no suspects in the case, but the search for leads continues.
