Sabetha Adopts Revitalization Plan
03/12/2015

(KNZA)--The Sabetha City Commission has adopted a modified Neighborhood Revitalization Plan.
Adoption of the plan followed a public hearing Monday evening.
The plan provides a 75 percent rebate of increased taxes on residential improvements over a five year period, and a 100 percent tax rebate over a 10 year period for commercial and retail improvements.   Previously, residential improvements weren’t eligible for the program.
To be eligible for the program, the improvements must increase the property’s appraised value by $15,000.
There is a one-time $35 application fee and five percent administration fee.
