(KNZA/KQ2-TV)--Fire crews in St. Joseph were kept busy overnight fighting multiple fires.
KQ2-TV reports two businesses and one home went up in flames.
The first fire was reported at the historic First Ward House in 21-hundred block of St. Joseph Avenue just before 6:30 Tuesday evening.
About 50 customers and six employees were inside the bar when the fire broke out, and made it out safely.
The fire is being blamed on an electric malfunction in a smoker in the kitchen of the business.
Shortly after 10 Tuesday night, a house fire was reported near 24th and Penn Streets.
Three people inside the home were able to escape without injuries. However, a firefighter was transported to the hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation.
Investigators believe the fire started in the garage area and spread to the rest of the home.
Shortly after 1:30 Wednesday morning, firefighters were called to Rumours Salon at the intersection of St. Joseph Avenue and Jefferson Street.
Crews arrived on the scene to find the two-story building completely engulfed in flames.
No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire hasn't been determined.
